Train Personnel General Safety Site Induction
A 17 minute video for train crews, tappers and contractors who are responsible for the safe and efficient control of trains while they are on site at a coal-fired power station.
It ensures that these personnel are aware of site safety requirements and contains:
- An Introduction
- Personal safety covering: personal protective equipment, alcohol and drugs, limited clearance.
- Train safety covering: train preparation, train lengths, locomotive failure, defects in track & signals, unloading procedure, cripples procedure.
- Site safety covering: site layout and road crossings, site safety signs and speed limits, site alarms and emergency phone numbers, assembly areas and first aid, accident/near miss reporting procedure, site tidiness.
