Training Assessment System (TAS)
TAS is an advanced Assessment Management System which allows managers and training administrators to efficiently set up and control the delivery of assessment throughout a global organisation.
TAS provides Assessment without Training. For example, training would take place using tutor led material or a DVD with a formal assessment taking place afterwards via TAS. TAS can be upgraded to TAS Premium at any time which adds the ability to include training content as part of assessments.
TAS features a centralised administration and tracking facility which enables trainers to monitor and assess trainees’ performances against standard criteria.
It can deliver full-featured progress reports - including assessment results, gaps in knowledge, and possible misconceptions in policies and procedures.
Users can be separated into groups such as Business Units to reflect an organisation’s corporate structure.
TAS stores questions and classifies them against selected training topics. These can be combined to give a variety of ’assessments’ at differing levels. It offers flexibility in the type of questions, and various resources such as graphics, video & sound can be attached to individual questions.
As all the questions are entered through an Administrator function they can be validated and authenticated centrally. This allows compliant standards to be maintained over content used for assessment.
Assessments are then generated for individual trainees or groups with the assurance that although the questions may differ (due to random selection and presentation), the trainees are being tested to the same standards and therefore the results are capable of comparison.
The on-line and off-line capabilities of the system offer ‘Anytime, Anywhere’ testing.
The system can be integrated with customers’ HR databases both for importing trainee details and exporting back the results of any assessment undertaken through the system.
